Battery dimensions
We can test cells, modules and packs under almost any conceivable test scenario. Our test facility is designed to meet individual customer requirements, from cells to large battery packs. We are at your disposal for specific inquiries.
Dimensions
We are also able to test larger batteries up to approx. 2m x 1.5m, such as those from forklift trucks or buses.
Weight
Depending on the test, tests on heavy battery systems weighing up to 1,200 kg are also possible without technical restrictions.
Performance
Our electronics offer up to 350 kW (or 1,000 V) of power.

INDIVIDUAL BATTERY TESTS WITH COMPREHENSIVE DATA ACQUISITION AND CAMERA MONITORING
We offer comprehensive tests at cell, module and battery level. You can have any combination of the above tests as well as additional tests carried out in cooperation with our partner laboratories. This includes customized tests according to your specifications, complete data logging of all parameters and camera recordings in normal and thermal imaging quality.

TEST EQUIPMENT
Batteryuniversity GmbH's test benches can be used to test large batteries for electric cars or electric forklift trucks. The BU is therefore well positioned for battery tests in the field of electromobility and can also test any components, e.g. from the aerospace sector.
SHAKER / SHOCK
The BU's 160 kN shaker can be loaded with a weight of up to 800 kilograms and can test noise profiles, sliding sine waves, superimposed sine waves and shock pulses. The shaker's headexpander and sliding table have a clamping area of 1.5 x 1.5 meters. The frequency can be varied from 5 to 2,500 Hz.

LARGE PRESSURE/VACUUM CHAMBER
The vacuum chamber with a size of 8 x 3 x 3 m enables the testing of huge battery units or other components. The control system can be used to program any profile down to a low pressure of 1 millibar.
